A clip of a short film showing the - very haunted - old Royal National hospital ( now demolished ) now the site of the Ventnor Botanic Gardens. Most people never actually saw it - or have forgotten what an incredible building this was, but now you can see for yourself what it looked like.

Filming has been taking place at the fabulous and haunted Appulductombe House for the French-German ARTE culture TV channel.

Firefighters were called to a blaze at Gatcombe Manor (the old Whitecroft Hospital) on Saturday 28 April, as the housing development's official launch day ended.
