Garlic and Ghosts films on Red Funnel Ferries
The film crew accompanied us for the evening, with Simon Perry (from VentnorBlog) who is featured taking part in some great Island adventures during the year. Simon was keen to try the first of our special supper walks from the renowned IW Garlic Farm cafe, across the fields to see the famous gateposts at Knighton Gorges, the Island's most haunted place. Fifty people (sceptics and believers) enjoyed supper with stories about the mysterious haunted mansion and its many ghosts, before walking with Marc and medium, Sarah, to the famous gateposts, where people claim to have seen ghostly stone creatures, and photographed 'spirit' orbs. Plenty of 'orbs' were seen and photographed during this walk. The evening was filmed for a Red Funnel Ferries promotion, being shown on their website and on the Red Jets and car ferries this summer. Read about the haunting history of Knighton Gorges in Gay Baldwin's latest book, Ghosts of Knighton Gorges.
